I have always be fascinated by the tangled quality of Nature.
From a basic spiral growth pattern that most plants use to form new growth a beauty results as tey entwine. Some times they are just overwhelming as in this screen of mesquite trees . More to come.

There are many permanent inhabitants in the Pala Duro Canyon. These wild turkeys are among the easiest to capture on camera. They are quite skittish but so plentiful that there are almost many of them around foraging in the underbrush.
Finding subjects to paint in the desert is an easy thing to do.
Perhaps not so easy to execute as the are often complicated arrangements of texture, subtle color shifts and multiple overlays of objects.
